Life is a vicious cycle. What starts as a wishful demand from a ruthless and haughty zamindaar goes on to involve half a dozen people and the chain progresses until it rests on the last embankment- A poor wage-earner (brilliantly played by Veteran actor Om Puri) who is sick and in need of medication.
The whole story goes through a wonderfully spun plot until the wage-earner manages to fulfill the demand of the Zamindaar.
What comes for Rs.2 goes on increasing as it passes hands and ultimately when it rests on the hands of the Zamnidaar it goes beyonf 40bucks.
The Zamindaar uses it to woo his maid but the climax turns all heads in one direction.
